About Me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jason Chase, and I am the President and Owner of Solidmark, a company I proudly created 11 years ago.  I am also an experienced graphic designer, an opinionated web developer (visit my blog www.earthtoself.com) and a consultant with an almost obsessive need for perfection.  I also do a lot of work with my friends at Spire Advertising, an Ohio Web Design firm that I've partnered with for years. Since the first day I delved into this business, I loved the simplicity of creating great web sites.  However, the industry has changed rapidly over the years.  Keeping up with the times has proven a constant challenge.

It personally took me a very long time to discover what I was good at, and what I liked doing, and, after much trial and error and a lot of experience, I discovered I enjoyed serving a very select group of clients to solve unique problems.  I enjoyed only taking on jobs where I learn something new and have the opportunity to expand.  I enjoy providing very specialized, creative solutions at a fast pace.  In my experience, being able to focus on a select few clients with very close personal attention and dedication has been so much more rewarding than trying to accept every job possible and please everybody.
